Scholarships sending students to Oxford

Through the William S.D. Louey Educational Foundation, he has funded 60+ students to study at top universities including University of Oxford. Many of these students progressed from UK schools to Oxford and Cambridge, creating a strong academic pipeline

He is a committee member and contributor to the China Oxford Scholarship Fund. His foundation also supports initiatives under this fund, including the “Pay It Forward” scholarship that sends students to Oxford.

In 2011, he was invited to join Oxford’s Vice-Chancellor’s Circle (a group of major supporters). In 2013, he received the Elizabeth Wordsworth Fellowship from Oxford for contributions to higher education.
